Dirt Surfers

There has been a change from the originally planned route due to snow still being on parts of the route in Gifford Pinchot… Instead we will be doing a “casual” mixed terrain ramble ride that will be departing from Portland.   There has been some interest in having a ride that starts in Portland proper, so the snowy misfortune becomes that opportunity. This ride involves a lot more pavement than usual, but it will still be a fun one. Start time: 9 a.m.  Start of route: Holman Lane Park Entrance (Forest Park) ~65 miles, 5900 ft. elevation gain ~35% gravel/dirt roads 35c tires fine Route :  DOWNLOAD ME TO YOUR DEVICE The route will begin at the Holman Lane Park Entrance of Forest Park.   We will climb up Holman to 53 rd , then take Firelane 1 down to Leif.    Leif out to Old Springville and climb up Old Springville to Skyline Blvd.   Next will be Skyline to Rock Creek, back to Skyline.   Skyline all the way out to Dixie Mountain Rd.   Dixie Mou
